We plan to ask every member for an ID check, and to show a verified badge once it is done.

Chat on Travel Companions first, agree to meet somewhere public, and share the trip: the stories, and the costs.

Travel Companions is being designed with large type, plain language, no swiping, and matching built on the things that make a trip work: pace, budget, and what you want out of a day.
An ID check comes first and community second. An ID check confirms a document matches a person. It is not a promise about how anyone behaves, so we will always tell you to meet in public and trust your own judgement.
