These terms cover your use of the Travel Companions website at travel-companions.com ("Travel Companions", "we", "us"). By using the site you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use it.

What this site is today

Travel Companions has not launched. The site describes what we plan to build and lets you join a waitlist. Joining the waitlist is free. It does not create an account, it does not reserve anything, and it does not oblige either of us to anything. We may change our plans, delay the launch or not launch at all.

The examples on the page

The list of trips on the home page is an illustration of the idea. They are not real trips, offers or members. Descriptions of how the service will work are plans, not promises of a final product.

Meeting people you do not know

Travelling with someone you have met online carries risk. When the service exists, an ID check will confirm that a document matches a person. It will not tell you how that person will behave, and it is not a guarantee of anyone's safety. Nothing on this site is travel, medical, legal or financial advice.

Using the site

• Give your own email address, and only your own.
• Do not try to break the site, overload it or get around its protections.
• Do not use the waitlist form to send us anything other than your email address.

Our content

The design, text and graphics on this site belong to us, except the photographs, which are used under the Pexels licence and belong to their photographers. You may link to the site. Please ask before copying it.

No warranty

We aim to keep the site accurate and available, but it is provided as it is, and we cannot promise it will always be error-free or online.
